Madtown Moms Behavior Policy The Behavior Policy is effective immediately for all functions endorsed by Madtown Moms, to include but not limited to activity groups, children’s room, public events, membership meetings, and any other Madtown Moms functions. This policy is intended to ensure the safety of all of our children. It may be reviewed at any time. Please submit suggestions to the Executive Board so that it can be voted on by the general membership. The following behaviors will not be accepted at any function: biting, spitting, hitting, pushing, kicking, inappropriate touch, excessive screaming, throwing hard objects, abusive language or any behaviors that might threaten the physical, emotional, or psychological well being of the children and mothers of the club. In the event that a child exhibits one of the above mentioned behaviors, the mother of the child will be asked to remove the child from the event for a period of 10 minutes for a re-directional “time-out.” If the behavior is exhibited again at the same event, the child and mother will be asked to leave the event. If the child is a repeat offender within a 30 day period, the child will not be allowed to attend Madtown Moms events for a probationary period of 2 months. After a child’s second time on a two-month probationary period, the mother and child will be forewarned that the next inappropriate behavior will result in expulsion from Madtown Moms. Should you or your child be a victim of inappropriate behaviors, you are encouraged to approach the offender’s mother directly to resolve the situation as the incident occurs. So that we may follow this policy, you are required to report the incident to the Executive Board as well. In order for this policy to be effective, we require that all Activity Coordinators make note of a behavior violation with specifics (who, where, when, what, etc) so that appropriate action may be taken.
